Rose is the After-Care Counselor for LIDC. Her primary responsibility is to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for young children. Rose recently received her undergraduate degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Social Justice & Human Rights and a minor in Women & Gender Studies from George Mason University.

 

Rose is passionate about enriching the educational experiences of children and preparing them for successful and independent adulthood. Outside of LIDC, you can find Rose reading African American literature, hiking around Shenandoah National Park, or hanging out with her pet corn snake, Ruby.
